Since its inception in 2006, Eskdale Campsite has been welcoming thousands of campers annually. Aside from camping, the establishment is well-positioned for walking and cycling tours around the regional woodlands and waterfalls. It’s approximately a 35 minutes’ drive from Scafell Pike and within walking distance of local pubs and shops. Facilities at your disposal include clean hot showers, a laundry room, and a payphone. As a kid-friendly campsite, there are trampolines, swings, and a play area for little children. There’s also a well-stocked shop on the premises. Two dogs are permitted per pitch, and you’re allowed to park your car next to your tent. The best time to go camping at the site is from May to January.
