Portland, the City of Roses, is a unique city, offering something for everyone. Tourists will find a large urban forest and over 200 public parks and gardens. There are world-class chefs and world-renowned restaurants, art theaters, a bridge built exclusively for cyclists, the largest independent bookstore in the world, and quite possibly the highest number of craft distilleries within the limits of one city in the United States. These distilleries produce handcrafted spirits of the highest quality and often use local ingredients. The heartbeat of the craft beer industry in the city is called Distillery Row, where you can visit several distilleries in one go.
