Houston is located in southeast Texas and is the state’s most populated city. The city started to boom out of the railroad and oil industries in the early 1900s and currently has a population of around seven million. Today it’s home to NASA’s Johnson Space Center and a large number of Fortune 500 companies. This diverse city brings in plenty of visitors each year. Tourists can explore its vibrant art scene, visiting one of the many museums in the Museum District. It’s also got a busy Theatre District, where you can catch the opera or the ballet. And of course, it’s got an impressive food culture, where a diverse range of foods are available to try. And if you’ve got a pooch you like to take with you, don’t worry, because we’ve put together a list of our favourite dog-friendly restaurants in Houston. So read on to check out the options.
