The pub has been around for 30 years and has a real cosy vibe, making it truly seem like a favourite local place for a pint in England. If the weather’s cool, you can sit by the fireplace, or head out into the patio on a nice day. And if you visit on a Friday or Saturday night, you can enjoy live jazz with your drink. They’ve also got a popular patio where you’re welcome to bring your dog. Their menu reflects the diversity of Houston, featuring southern, Cajun, and Hispanic foods. They serve up lunch, dinner, and brunch, and are vegetarian-friendly. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, save room for dessert and indulge in chocolate espresso cake or butterscotch bread pudding.
