2. The Arts House

This colonial building was once home to the Parliament of Singapore, and it was also used as a courthouse. Besides that, the discovery of archaeological evidence dating back to the 13th and 14th centuries makes it an important historical place. Back in 2004, it re-opened as The Arts House and now serves as a heritage center where musical performances, art exhibits, and other events take place. From Raffles Place or City Hall MRT, this building is only a 10-minute walk away.
