And it’s all there - all the tikkas, kormas, kebabs and more that set an Indian cuisine aficionado’s taste buds salivating. There are vegetarian options too. Swad prides itself on its homemade Indian dishes. Built from the ground up around the reputation of its food, this curry bar originally started as a 1973-era food truck (hence the ‘73’ reference in the name) but became such a success that it outgrew its humble beginnings to move into a permanent home and become a full-fledged restaurant in its own right. The chef’s determination to stick to those handmade roots continues today, and the menu varies according to the season - so those who plan on visiting Barcelona more than once will likely find new tastes each time.
