Lucy Craft Laney Museum was built to honor the legacy of Miss Lucy Laney. She was a leading American educator and community leader of her time. Miss Laney’s bust is on permanent display in the museum.
Apart from exhibits, there are special events you might come across during your visit. If you are visiting on a Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday, you may avail yourself of a guided tour at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 2:30pm. The museum has a butterfly garden as well.
