Located in the Semenawi Keyih Bahri region in Eritrea, Disei is a beautiful island that features a picturesque landscape and a plethora of attractions. Although it is one of the several attractive islands that form the Dahlak Archipelago, it is the only island that is mountainous. If you’re someone who loves mountain climbing or has a special affinity for rocks, then touring this island should be your priority. The majority of the mountains on the island are made of gneiss and other crystalline rocks. With a number of pristine, sandy beaches, the island also serves as a peaceful, romantic hideout for honeymooners.
