November to March is the peak tourist season and the best time to visit Cavelossim. This is the ideal time for indulging in water sports or simply sun-bathing by the sea shore. However, you will need to pre-plan and pre-book your trip during these months due to the heavy tourist inflow. The off season is during the rainy season from June to September. During this time, the waves can be rough, so it is not safe to swim on any of the beaches, all water activities are generally closed and rain can force you to stay indoors for most of the day.
