The Parliament House

This gorgeous hotel places you just a short drive away from The Parliament House. This structure, which is approaching its 100th anniversary, stands as a remarkable example of Nordic 1920s classicism. Designed by J. S. Sirén, it incorporates elements inspired by ancient Greek and Roman architecture, reflecting a timeless influence on the structure.

This building symbolizes a strong state, democratic governance, and national unity, drawing inspiration from structures in Berlin and Stockholm. Rising 25 meters tall with six floors, its prominent features include a massive cubic structure, a grand columned portico, and a row of Corinthian-style columns. Clad in Finnish Kalvola reddish-gray granite, the exterior reflects the building’s robust national character.
