Retiro Park is the most important park in Madrid. The huge pond, the Crystal Palace, and the natural views will be your accomplice for the perfect date! Why not take advantage of its beautiful scenery and have a picnic with free music, wine, and delicious food? You can enjoy your dessert in a rented boat as you admire its artificial pond, located next to the King Alfonso VII monument, while you give some bread to the ducks and fish. This is, as well, a remarkable experience to have during your alone time; this park might be famous, but it is big enough to find lonely places and the best of all is its reduced price! The park has free entrance and the boat rent is just 5.8 EUR (approximately 6.3 USD) during week days and 7.5 EUR (approximately 8.1 USD) on weekends for a whole hour!

You can spend some alone time while you enjoy the view of the Royal Palace, Temple of Debod, Madrid Río (Madrid’s River), and the Rosaleda de Madrid (Rose garden). If you have children, it won’t be a problem; you can leave them in the supervised playground area, while you have a meal or a drink on the terrace. The sunset view is amazing from here! You can enjoy a round trip ride for just 5.9 EUR (approximately 6.4 USD) per person.
