Anya Resort Tagaytay is hands down my favorite place to stay in the city! It's away from the busy tourist center, so the area is much quieter and isolated. While you won't have views of Taal Volcano, the resort itself is pretty beautiful already. I recommend booking a room with a view of the creek instead of the pool, as the former has less foot traffic. That being said, the pool is an excellent place to relax with a fresh fruit shake or a bowl of halo-halo. There's also a grassy area where you can try archery or play cornhole.

Traveler's tips
When you're hungry, visit the nearest branch of Leslie's Restaurant for delicious Filipino food. A must-try when you're visiting Tagaytay is the bulalo, and Leslie's arguably has the best among the many bulalo restaurants along the highway. We also loved the garlic butter shrimp! Apart from the food, we appreciated the fresh air and views of Taal Lake from here. There may be some flies around, but you can ask the staff to light candles to keep them away.

Near this hotel is the newly opened Starbucks Reserve Hiraya, a more high-end and modern branch compared to the already popular branch along Tagaytay - Nasugbu Highway.
