The Cape May City Beaches have similar features as other beaches around the resort town – shopping, restaurants, bars, that are stone’s throw away, as well as a history of beach culture. Although the waves, crowd, size, and slopes change annually, the sun, sand, and surf are constant. These unique features have attracted tourist and locals for centuries, which makes a bit crowded. However, the beach is an excellent spot for a family timeout. The Cove is the best around due to the gentle slope, surfing is famous, the sand is good, the views are magnificent, and the flag-lowering ceremony is beautiful.
