This palace was constructed in 1923, during the reign of His Majesty King Vajiravudh, also known as King Rama VI, and was his summer palace. Although King Vajiravudh was only able to visit this palace twice, he was the one who initially designed the palace, with the help of an Italian architect, Ercole Manfredi. The palace is also referred to as the “Palace of Love and Hope”, and is a very nice place to spend the day, walking and admiring the view of the beach and garden. Not really much of an adventure, but a great, quick stop for relaxation and quiet contemplation.
