Founded in 1964, this town has great connectivity, being located at the intersection of the Defense Highway, Crain Highway and Davidsonville Road. A purely residential town, with most homeowners living in their own houses, this embodies the purity associated with a quintessential American small town. The climate here is largely moderate, with slightly humid summers. While travelling in Crofton, hire a bike for a few days or your entire stay - and bike in Crofton Park to get a feel of the town as well as keep up with your fitness regime. This town is nestled in the triangular space cut out by three highways, and at the heart of the city lies the Crofton Parkway. This canopied, wide rolling stretch of roadway, about 3.5 miles (5.6 km) long, is ideal for energizing bike rides for beginners as well as advanced bikers. And, to promote outdoor activity, there are bike stands set up at the park station. Bike through the center of the community to get an overview of the town.

Located near a golf course, this lush green, shaded and scenic family park is a great spot for visitors. It is spacious and well maintained. Spend an afternoon here, reading a book, walking along the paved trails, biking, breathing in the fresh air or simply indulging in some tree therapy. If you visit during the fall season, you’ll get to see the red and rust shades of the season and a starker view - all the more beautiful for its sparseness.
