1. Visit the magnificent London Museum of Water & Steam
Posted by London Museum of Water & Steam on Sunday, 23 September 2018
The museum is an amazing site displaying huge historic engines that used to pump Thames’ water to London. You can also learn about the UK’s water-related past and the role of water in the country’s battle for public health. The museum’s family attractions include Waterworks, Splash Zone, and various interpretation panels. Waterworks is a stunning interactive exhibition detailing the history of London’s water supply. The outdoor Splash Zone is a fun and hands-on play area ideal for families, where kids can explore how water moves and adults can test their muscle power against water-pumping machines from centuries ago. And the modern interpretation panels that run throughout the museum explain the history behind its collection of steam engines. Moreover, the museum has rising platform lifts making it accessible to wheelchair users too.

Syon Park also boasts the beautiful Syon House. Pop culture enthusiasts will be glad to know that parts of Bridgerton were filmed in Syon House. With the beautiful balls in the series, I'm not surprised!
Here are my top tips for visiting the main house, park, and conservatory:
1. If you're planning a visit, make sure to prebook on their website as there might be a wedding!
2. If you want to take a clear shot, visit on a weekday.
3. If you fancy a picnic, this is a great spot!
4. The tour guides in Syon House are very informative, so if you have any questions about the park as a filming area or the history - don't be shy to ask!
