Editor's Note: Photo taken from the establishment's official social account

Orlando after-dark can be wild and exhilarating, but you don’t have to venture too far away from the bright lights of the city center to experience a different kind of thrill.

Python hunting takes place from sunrise to sunset, in a remote area just outside of Orlando. Burmese pythons are a non-native species that have been released into the Everglades and now have a breeding population in South Florida. These constrictors represent a threat to native wildlife and local ecosystems, so they have been classified as an “Invasive Species”. With this status, they can be hunted by those with no permit or license and there are even extra (cash) incentives to hunt them!

Although python hunts can be done on your own, we always recommend going out with a licensed professional for your first hunt to learn the basics of hunter safety, python habits, and prime hunting locations.

Python Hunting in Southern Florida is guided by a licensed guide service, and packages are fully-guided with lodging and all equipment provided.
