This is the prominent beach of the area and can be easily reached by local buses from the town centre. It was once a fisherman’s village but now boasts some stylish restaurants and cafes and the fish dishes here are a great all-time favourite with travellers. Punta Campanella is an area of wild beach on the southernmost point of Sorrento and it can be an attractive place to visit, at night. It’s a sacred place from ancient times and there was even a Greek temple here at one time. There is a 14th-century watchtower here that used to signal the arrival of pirates. 5. The Bay of Ieranto

The Bay of Ieranto is the widest and deepest bay in the region and features a rocky cove at the base of Mount San Constanzo. This is also a place of worship and the area is protected as a marine preservation area by the Italian Environmental Department. 6. Mount San Costanzo

This is a small village at the foot of Mount San Constanzo and it is located near the island of Capri. It can be an exciting place to visit at night, as there are small parks and cafes, restaurants and shops, so you can go on a shopping spree or just take a walk along the trails that offer some gorgeous views of the landscape, including a view of the island of Capri and the Gulf of Naples.

This is the largest hamlet in the region of Massa Lubrense and it has an exciting nightlife, with cafes, pubs and restaurants and there is even tourist information points, if you are so inclined.
