Rimini is found in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy and is the capital city of the province of Rimini. It is located between the Marecchia and Ausa rivers, on the banks of the Adriatic Sea. The Piazza Cavour has been the centre of Rimini city since the Middle Ages. It was one of the most famous meeting venues in all of Rimini. Many ceremonies, exhibitions and markets were held here. There are three municipal buildings in this square: Palazzo Garampi, Palazzo dell'Arengo and Palazzo del Podestà. The famous Amintore Galli Theatre and the Pescheria are also located at Piazza Cavour. Right in the middle of the Piazza Cavour is the beautiful Fontana Della Pigna. The city centre also has a monument of Paul V. All of these sights make for a truly great place to spend the evening and enjoy the city lights.

2. Piazza Tri Martiri

Piazza Tre Martiri is also known as the heart of Rimini city! It is a unique monument, where some historic moments took place. Located between Roman Ariminium and the modern city, the Piazza Tre Martiri is Rimini’s commercial and cultural centre. There are a lot of shops and cafes to explore in the area and numerous public events, as well as seasonal markets, are frequently held here.

4. La Marianna


La Marianna is an elegant restaurant with a beautiful outside patio. The restaurant’s decor is welcoming and stylish, with its tables, chairs and bookshelves all made from rough wood. The entire bar is made from an old boat, which was taken from the port of Rimini. The restaurant gives a distinct vibe of freshness and lightness. This restaurant is located north of old Roman bridge and has been a tourist favourite for a long time. The turquoise aproned waiters and beautifully tiled flooring all help to give off a unique vibe. La Marianna serves shrimp, calamari, and Adriatic fish, but some of the must-try items here are Spiedini di calamaretti, Mazzancolle nostrane al sale di cervia and Sardoncini friti.

The Wonderland is also known as Mirabilandia Theme Park. It is divided into a total of seven thematic areas, which are developed around a central lake. There are many live shows held at Mirabilandia Theme Park. The Eurowheel Ferris wheel is the second largest in Europe, after London. 7. Marino Centro


The Marina Centro is a very famous seaside resort. It was here, in 1843, that the first ever bathing establishment was designed, for both men and women. Currently, the Marino Centro is considered a rich and elite tourist destination. The Marino Centro is quite a summer retreat, thanks to the huge range of hotels and resorts in the area. There are a lot of clubs, restaurants, amusement arcades, and shops as well. The Viale Vespucci is a beautiful tree lined avenue, which runs parallel to the seafront. The historic centre of Piazza Cavour is located quite close to here. There is the University of Rimini, which has brought a lot of international students here. For book lovers, there is a bookshop in this area. The square is famous for its classic taverns and restaurants, located quite close to each other. The hustle and bustle of the area during the night is fantastic!
