2. Musee de Ursulines

The dome of the Ursuline monastery is sure to attract visitor traveling through Trois-Rivières. 3. Borealis

This is the perfect museum to learn about the pulp and paper mills that founded Trois-Rivieres. The place has impressive guides and pictures that will give every traveler an enjoyable experience. The museum welcomes people of all ages and invites visitors to learn about the basic process of paper manufacturing, including the choice of wood and the completion process. This is an ideal place for inquisitive minds or scholars on an educational trip.
It has a beautiful terrace that faces a river flowing on the other side. There is also a lift and wheelchairs for the elderly. The museum is open year-round, and more activities are offered from May to September. Monday’s are closed in the winter season. There is an opportunity to take a headphone self-guided tour or the guided tour, which is in French.
The museum offers jazz music, every Tuesday evening. Children will also be exposed to games such as the “Word Treasure Hunt.” It is an amazing place for a family visit.

4. Our Lady of the Cape Shrine

Located in the magnificent region of Mauricie, Our Lady of the Cape Shrine is Canada’s national shrine to the remembrance of Holy Mary. 5. Parc Laviolette
This is an amazing park to have a wonderful time with family. This park is also appropriate for soccer and baseball games.There is a small water park for kids here, as well. Delicious ice cream can also be obtained from Ours Polaire, which is just across the street. This is a pleasant park for families and for exercise and is recommended for all fun and nature lovers.

6. Parc Portuaire

This is a three-level boardwalk, offering breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River, the harbor, and Laviolette Bridge. Visitors are allowed in the park between 7 am and 3 pm. Parc Portuaire is endowed with several amazing terraces and restaurants in its immediate environment, which are sure to give visitors unforgettable experiences.

8. Parc de l'ile Saint-Quentin

The I'ile Saint-Quentin Park is a recreational area in an urban setting. It offers a diverse range of activities and events year-round. Adventurous minds will admire this environment. 10. Old Jail of Trois-Rivieres

This prison is situated in the center of town, enclosed by a museum. Tour guides consist of released prisoners who experienced this place and visiting is a great experience for historical minds. They offer limited visits to young persons and don’t allow entrance to those below 12 years of age. Between 15 and 20 visits are allowed per day, during the summer season but only two English speaking tours are available.
