It's the perfect spot for a Saturday brunch date, and I highly recommend ordering the omelet with beef and mushrooms. But the best items on the menu here are the pastries! The croissants are so buttery, and the apple tarts are some of the tastiest I've had. My family orders boxes of the stuff because they're so good!
Do note that parking can be difficult because GUEV is right on the highway and only has three or four parking spaces in front. I'd still recommend the area though because there are a lot of malls along the highway (Ayala Feliz, Sta. Lucia Mall, Robinsons Metro East, SM Masinag, SM Marikina), so you'll always find something to do.

It's in a small building right before Gate 1 of Ateneo de Manila University, so it's easy to overlook, but the cakes here are delicious! I order the special strawberry cake for my birthday every year because it's just that good. Be sure to order the special strawberry cake instead of the plain one for more flavor! It's not too sweet and has the perfect balance of tartness from the strawberries.
Another nearby favorite is Lan Kwai Speakeasy & Hong Kong Cuisine. It's a popular drinking spot among college students and is known for its fishbowl-sized drinks. The food is also excellent though. Try the Hainanese chicken rice bowl and the salt and pepper squid.You can walk from Blue Residences to either one of these establishments.
