The best pancake from Hawaii? Try Café Kaila Omotesando

The Hale ‘Aina Award in Hawaii awards restaurants who have the greatest foods. Café Kaila Omotesando was opened in 2012 by the owner who once won the best breakfast award. It is most famous for the original pancakes served there.

The bright café is designed based on an open terrace and it has an extremely Hawaii-esque atmosphere, with Hawaiian music and visuals being played around the shop. Staff uniforms feature hibiscus flowers too. The “Kaila Original Pancake” that can only be enjoyed in Café Kaila Omotesando comes with 3 thick pancakes and a rich amount of organic fruits including strawberries, bananas, apples, and blueberries. The harmony that the juicy fruits, syrup, cream, and pancake creates is fantastic!

It is also recommended to try the meat and cheese omelette if you are having breakfast there. Another recipe you could choose is the egg benedict. The toasted muffin and juicy bacon together with the egg and salad are just fantastic! Only 60 servings of the egg benedict is available per day so make sure you visit Café Kaila Omotesando early!
