If You Didn’t Know You Are Missing Out! the Other Hotel Inside Hotel Amsterdam

There are 3 hotels run by Huis Ten Bosch dubbed “The Three Hotels”. But out of the 3 hotels that don the Huis Ten Bosch brand Hotel Amsterdam is the only one that is physically inside the park.

Hotel Amsterdam is located in the Amsterdam square where Holland’s beautiful city is recreated masterfully. At night Stad House in front of the flower clock is lit up with 3D projection mapping, and right next to it is the brick colored building (far right in the image above) Hotel Amsterdam. Opposite from Stad House is another building that has 3D projection mapping, so after both shows you can easily return to your hotel, making it the perfectly located hotel. The 3D projection mapping shows open fairly late so being able to head straight back for a shower then into bed is definitely convenient.

Another thing great here is that since you are already inside the theme park you can enjoy a stroll around the park before the park guests arrive in the morning. This is one special privileges that guests at Hotel Amsterdam have.

“The special other hotel” the Laura Ashley floor

The Laura Ashley floor is located on the top floor of Hotel Amsterdam, and is dubbed “the special other hotel”. It was meticulously designed by the famous English designer Laura Ashley. When you stay at a Laura Ashley room you also check in on this floor.

When you tell the front desk on the first floor of Hotel Amsterdam you take the elevator to the top floor and are greeted by the exclusive concierge as the elevator doors open.

Pictured above is the Club Lounge which guests of the Laura Ashley Room can use anytime. Both this lounge and the guest rooms are both the epitome of comfort and feel like home. It seems all the guests here absolutely adore the chair when they check in. Even if there are other chairs open they seem to gravitate back to the same chair to kick back and relax, which you see often here. It is as though every guest is back in their own living room at home and each chair is their favorite spot.

Guests of the Laura Ashley room can use the free airport bus between the Nagasaki Airport and Huis Ten Bosch, so they never feel tired from the trip from the airport and check in right away into the Laura Ashley room.

Afternoon tea overlooking the harbor

During check in afternoon tea and refreshments are provided for you to take a luxurious rest overlooking the harbor. When you are ready a word with the concierge and you can head to your room.

Guests of the Laura Ashley room are treated to 5 different breakfast and snack meals during the day. Breakfast, brunch, afternoon tea, pre-dinner Hors-d'œuvre, and a night cap. Each have set times they are served with the pre-dinner Hors-d'œuvre and night cap have alcohol served with them. There are drinks available at all other times on offer as well.

The best part of the Laura Ashley Floor is that when you are tired from having fun in the park you can come back to the floor and have a light meal, or when you are cold from watching the illumination show you can come back to have some hot soup, making you feel you are right at home. Because of this every time you come back to the floor you almost want to yell out “I’m home!”

The hospitality with a smile and friendly talk of the exclusive concierge is just icing on the cake.

Laura Ashley room

The exclusive concierge guides you to your room. As the door opens your field of view is filled with a gorgeous room filled with everything designed by Laura Ashley. Many a lady will be excited just by this fact alone! Even the standard room boasts a spacious 45sqm, and is big enough for two women and all the contents of their luggage laid out across the room and still have room for more.

A chic red sofa and flora print room. The dresser even is covered in Laura Ashley flower print. Amenities are all from L'OCCITANE. With room fragrance coloring the air, these rooms are tailor made to what women prefer.

The bed is donned with a Simmons brand mattress, making rest a heavenly affair. With the morning edition newspaper delivered in the morning everything combined is ultimate pampering. It’s understandable that most of the guests stay until the very last minute to check out.

A lazy breakfast

Breakfast is a buffet but, you don’t have to head to a restaurant, you can just head to the Club Lounge. Although not pictured here, they serve Japanese food as well as western foods. Normally hotel breakfast buffets are crowded from the start but, the buffet at the Club Lounge is hardly so. Laura Ashley Room’s are so nice that it seems most guests don’t want to leave them. So much so that it is never busy here when breakfast starts. This is a breakfast buffet where you can relax and enjoy your meal without the bustle of most other buffets.

To start off you are served a wake up sparkling wine. Although the concierge will ask if you would like more, if you might want to take it easy if you want to explore the park as much as possible later that day. At Hotel Amsterdam when you check out you are given a park reentry pass so you can enjoy the rest of the day still.
