Lakeside is one of the most popular neighbourhoods to visit among travellers heading to Pokhara, thanks to its proximity to several tourist attractions. It sits beside the famous Fewa Lake, so you can easily indulge in several outdoor activities, such as paragliding, trekking, kayaking, white-water rafting and boating. Tal Barahi Temple, Gurkha Museum, International Mountain Museum, and several other landmarks are also located in the vicinity.

Additionally, there are many restaurants in the area that offer Indian, Italian, Burmese, French, Chinese, Japanese, and other international cuisines.
