With a picturesque location in Yokosuka’s Kannonzaki Park and views overlooking Tokyo Bay, the exterior of the Yokosuka Museum of Art is just as impressive as the exhibits within its walls. Collection Gallery
The Collection Gallery features the museum’s impressive permanent collection of approximately 5,000 pieces, as well as a variety of changing exhibitions. Library

Yokosuka Museum of Art strives to create an accessible environment for all visitors. Wheelchairs can be used within the museum and service dogs are allowed. Visitors who hold a disability pass (with up to one accompanying caretaker) are admitted with free entry upon showing the pass at the Information Desk. For visitors with infant children, there is a baby feeding room and a multi-purpose bathroom with a baby seat located on the first floor. The baby feeding room is locked when not in use but can be opened by a staff member at the Information Desk. Visitors can also arrange for a baby stroller or a carrying sling at the Information Desk, free of charge.
Special admissions
Admission prices vary by visitor age, special circumstances, and which gallery guests are choosing to see. Admission for the Collection Gallery also includes entrance to the Taniuchi Rokuro Pavilion. The admission for the Special Exhibition Gallery varies by event but includes access to the Collection Gallery and the Taniuchi Rokuro Pavilion.
Visitors who are senior citizens or who are junior high school students or younger are eligible for discounted admission prices. Admission is free for high-school students who live, or attend a school, in Yokosuka, as well as people issued with a disability pass, plus one accompanying caretaker. Admission is free for all guests on the City Anniversary Day (the Sunday closest to February 15) and Culture Day (November 3).
How to get there
Private vehicles
For travelers arriving by a private vehicle, Yokosuka Museum of Art is located in Kannonzaki Park in Yokosuka off of the Yokohama-Yokosuka Toll Road. Parking is available on the premises from 8am to 10pm, and parking price is dependent on the size of vehicle and duration of stay. Parking is free for one hour with the museum admission ticket. Bicycle parking is free for the duration of your stay.
Public transportation
Travelers can also reach Yokosuka Museum of Art by public transportation. For visitors traveling from the Maborikaigan Station (Keikyu Line)/JR Yokosuka train station, take the Keikyu bus bound for Kannonzaki then depart at the Keikyu Kannnonnzaki Hotel and Yokosuka Museum of Art bus stop. From there it is a three-minute walk to the museum. From the Uraga Station(Keikyu Line) train station, visitors can take the Keikyu bus bound for Kannonzaki and depart at the final stop. The museum is then a five-minute walk away.
