Snowdonia is a mountainous area found in the northwest part of Wales that offers a lot of opportunities for outdoor adventures, including fantastic glamping spots. It is clustered around the glacial landforms and mountains of the vast Snowdonia National Park. The park measuring 2,130 kilometers (823 miles) is home to Mount Snowdon, Wales’ highest mountain, and was designated in 1951 as a national park of Wales. The park features more than 100 lakes, several trails, and rugged peaks, such as Tryfan and Cader Idris, that attract hundreds of hikers annually. The park is both public and privately owned lands governed by the central planning authority. Snowdonia’s exceptional natural environment with its showcase of castles, world-class beaches, cycling paths, walkways, golf greens, and excellent lodgings such as cabins with hot tubs, yurts, and secluded vacation rentals, makes it ideal for open-air adventures. Scroll down if you want to book one of the best yurts in Snowdonia, Wales, and experience the exciting Welsh outdoors.

8. Perfect, pastel getaway with stove

The 45-acre (18.2-hectare) private property is near Cader Idris and 5 minutes by car to Fairbourne Beach. The location of the yurt depends on the season of the year. During summer, it is pitched on the glade but during winter, it is on their touring campsite. The modern yurt has a skylight and porthole with pastel-colored interiors and accents. Four guests and a pet will sleep comfortably on the double bed and two sofa beds while a wood-burning stove keeps the air warm and toasty. There’s enough electricity in the yurt to power up the lights, create extra heating, and make a cup of coffee. There are rugs and pillows you can lay on while on the floor. Enjoy refreshing outdoor views while you sip coffee on the tiny table for two inside the yurt. You can also take a walk out on the field. A nearby shed houses the showers and the loo.
