No matter where you stay in Ahmedabad, don't forget to check out the many beautiful bakeries and cafés this lively city has to offer. Some of my top recommendations have to be Little French House and Brewgarten in Navrangpura where you can enjoy cosy evenings with your friends. From refreshing home-brewed coffee to fresh pizzas, these eateries can serve to be the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring the city. 

If you're travelling with your significant other, you must stop by The Project Cafe for a romantic meal amidst a lovely ambience. 

The best thing about shopping here is the variety of delicious foods one can savour if they get hungry. There's a large food court that boasts all kinds of local and international dishes.

India Habitat Centre is a bustling convention centre on Lodhi Road and boasts some of Delhi's top cultural and art events. You can check out some of the finest theatre and Indian classical dance and music events that happen from time to time. Also, there's a Visual Arts Gallery and an Open Palm Court Gallery where you can explore various contemporary exhibitions. You can also head to Eatopia Food Court and Oriental Lee to savour some delectable foods. 

One of my favourite things to do here is to take late evening serene walks through the property and sit by the small pond and stare at the fishes.

You can head to Tamra Restaurant if you're looking for some luxurious dining. This restaurant is located in one of Delhi's most popular 5-star hotels, Shangri-La Eros New Delhi. You can savour their daily buffet, which features a wide palette of exotic and global cuisines. From mouth-watering dishes to refreshing drinks, this restaurant is a must try. 

If you're travelling with your partner, the lovely ambience intertwined with the friendly yet professional staff will put your experience over the moon. Make sure to grab a table by the window so that you can enjoy the beautiful garden views while eating.

Diggin is a pretty chill spot where you can enjoy delectable Italian food and refreshing drinks amidst a lovely ambience. The best thing about this café is that it's pet friendly so feel free to take your fur babies along. Do try their Rosemary Fettuccini and Spaghetti Bolognese for an awesome gastronomical experience. 

AMA Cafe is located in the popular Majnu-ka-tilla area of New Delhi and serves a delicious variety of pancakes and coffee. You can explore their breakfast menu and devour appetising burgers and doughnuts. 

The café is located in a Tibetan market area filled with local stalls selling mouth-watering laphings and budget-friendly clothes. Also, there's a Tibetan Monastery that you can check out.

Dilli Haat is a great place to find traditional and authentic Indian fabric clothes. There's a minimal entry fee of 100 INR (1.21 USD) and you can explore a variety of Indian cultures and traditions here. From original Banarasi Sarees to pure Pashmina shawls, Dilli Haat is a true heaven for authentic fabric lovers. 

You can pick a variety of handicrafts, such as designer bags, clothes, jewellery and home decor items, perfect for gifting your loved ones.

Tamra Restaurant is a fine dining spot located in a 5-star hotel. You can savour their fixed buffet, which features a variety of global cuisines, or check out their menu if you wish to order individual dishes. The best thing about going for the buffet option is that you can also request personally curated dishes that are not on the menu. Don't forget to try their appetising range of fresh cakes and pastries. 

The non-vegetarian food that one can get near Jama Masjid is unparalleled. Some of my favourite eateries to devour delicious chicken dishes are Shabrati Nahari Centre and Anwar Food Corner. You can also sample some of the best non-vegetarian food at Karim's Hotel Pvt. Ltd. and Al Gulzar Restaurant, which are also within walking distance from Jama Masjid. 

If you want to spend some serene time connecting with nature, Lodhi Garden is your spot. There's a lovely pond with a small fountain and ducks, perfect for spending some relaxing time with your loved ones. Also, you'll spot beautiful flowers, such as roses and tulips, as you take a leisurely stroll through this vast property.

You can set aside three to four hours to explore this huge garden properly. Start with a serene walk along the property and check out some of the finest old monuments and architecture. You can then enjoy a small picnic surrounded by flowers and trees. Feel free to take advantage of the tranquil atmosphere of this park to practise yoga or for jogging. There's also a small pond with sprinklers where you can feed the ducks.
