Meryl Lee
Travelling feeds my curiosity. I love the sense of exhilaration when I try something new. I am fascinated by the history of a country, their people, their culture and how they live in the present. Travelling has taught be to get comfortable with being lost all the time. To allow my misadventures to take me to new places and learn to ask others for directions to get to where I want to go. I am humbled to know and embrace that what I know is so little but glad to know that there is so much more to explore. I often pick destinations that I know little or nothing about, making my trip there a real learning adventure; taking it for what it is. My fondest travel stories are of ones following strangers into their homes, back allies sometimes, bathhouses. I have been told not to but I do.
