A vacation in this historic place won’t just give you tranquil moments but also splendid mountain and desert views. Terlingua is located in Brewster County, and in the early 1900s, it was a vibrant mining district where mercury was produced. When one of the major mining companies went bankrupt in 1942, it eventually led to the departure of most of the inhabitants, turning the area into a ghost town.

Fast forward to the present, Terlingua still continues to astound visitors with its wide variety of attractions. You can explore the abandoned mines, go horseback riding, enjoy good food and live entertainment at Starlight Theater, or see unique artworks in Stillwell Store – Hallie’s Hall of Fame Museum. If you’re still thinking of where to stay, then let this list make it easier for you. Here are the best Airbnbs in Terlingua.

We handpicked these listings carefully, considering (wherever possible) Superhost status, recent guest reviews, location, accommodation type, prices, availability of dates, decor, and amenities. The image galleries get refreshed with the latest updates regularly. They were last updated on April 04, 2024.
