Every single day, from noon till late at night, you can have a very good time in Imperium Live, which is in the center of the city, on the Nicolae Balcescu pedestrian street. You can listen to live music from various local artists, and the atmosphere here is excellent, with music ranging from Irish, folk, jazz, rock, and even blues.
Even as you approach the place, you will feel its energy, and it looks as though there is always an event taking place, here. As for the drinks, you can make a selection from a wide variety of beer but you definitely have to call for a reservation, before planning a visit. The pub gets very crowded, especially during concerts.

2. Naf Naf Cafe & Bar
Naf Naf is a cafe and bar with tradition, as it was first opened back in 1996 and it has gone through many changes, over the years, as the business continued to grow. The modern part of the cafe and bar was refurbished in 2012 and it now has a great modern design. The interior offers about 60 seats for customers, and the terrace comes with another 60 spots on some comfortable couches.
The cafe and bar is also known as a great place to come during a major football (soccer) championship. If you happen to come here during the Euro Cup or the Mondial Championship, you better make sure that you phone first, for a reservation.

3. Vintage Pub

Not too far away from the historical center of Sibiu, you can have a great time at one of the most famous pubs in the city. At Vintage Pub you can have some delicious cocktails, which listening to some good music. Besides their regular parties, this place organizes a huge New Year’s Eve event, with great music and lots of people to have fun with.

4. Cotton Pub
The Ursus Cotton Pub is one of the most popular pubs among students but it’s not only for them. This place is very close to Sibiu University, so that’s why they spend more time around this location. Even though it is very well-known for its late night parties, the pub can be a great place to have a coffee or even eat a burger or some pizza, in the afternoon.
The place is open from noon, and you can always visit and spend some time on the terrace or in the pub.

5. St. Andrew Scottish Pub
This Scottish Pub is very close to Piata Mare, and it’s only two minutes away from the Tower of Council (Turnul Sfatului). Here, you can discover another peaceful street of Sibiu that is close to the historical center, Avram Iancu Street. St. Andrew Schottish Pub is the first Scottish pub in Sibiu, and they serve over 60 types of beer, from countries such as Scotland, Czech Republic, Germany and England, so you have many to choose from. With such a variety of drinks, you might encounter a problem when choosing, so you can also ask for a recommendation from the pub staff, who will be happy to help. The music is great and you can enjoy jazz, modern blues and even classic rock, at this location.

6. Cheers Pub

Not as close to the Old Town, but also similar in theme, Cheers Pub, on Rennes Street has a pleasant terrace and is on a narrow street, near the Park of Sub Arini. This place is an Irish pub, and besides their regular choice of beverages, you can enjoy some great Guinness beer, here.
They are open from 9 am, so you can enjoy a less crowded time in the pub, but you can also come after 6 pm when it starts to get crowded with people having fun, until 12 am.

7. Oldies Pub

Last on this least, but definitely not least, is Oldies Pub, located right in the center of the main pedestrian street of Sibiu: Nicolae Bacescu. This place is also very popular among locals, but tourists also seem to appreciate the experience in this location. The are only open from 9 pm but are open until the morning. Sometimes you can find some great concerts here, and the place is also known for its many stand-up comedians, that come by to do shows here, very often.
