Gratar Urban is a small restaurant in the center of Brasov which is known for their delicious burgers. 2. Dei Frati
Dei Frati is one of the most appreciated Italian restaurants, in Brasov. It is also located very close to the center of the city, and it is very popular not only for locals but also for tourists, mostly because of their warm and friendly atmosphere and, of course, because of the delicious food.
The pasta is all freshly prepared in the restaurant, and they also serve great soups, salads, and desserts.

3. Bella Muzica Restaurant
Bella Muzica Restaurant welcomes its customers with excellent dishes from Hungarian, Mexican, and Romanian cuisine. Highlights of the menu include paprikash stew, pork tenderloin and grilled trout. The place is full of history and it can be a great place not just to eat, but to enjoy a stay in the medieval building, which holds a hotel, as well as the restaurant.
You can have dinner here, or even lunch as it is open from noon until midnight.

4. La Ceaun
Here. we have the first traditional restaurant on our list, with food prepared just like you’d find in the countryside. During the lunch hour, you can taste a great traditional soup or stew, made in the restaurant’s cauldron, which is the meaning of “ceaun”. In the same course, you will get some bread with a baked potato, some homemade pickles and some hot pepper, for the soup.
The restaurant makes a great effort to provide customers with vegetables and meat from the local farmers, to support the rural side of Romania.

5. Belvedere Restaurant
The Belvedere Restaurant offers a unique experience, with an incredible view from the windows for those who want to try something new and not so ordinary. Besides the wonderful location of the restaurant, they offer great food and desserts.
The restaurant changes its menu every three months, and they have a famous chef, Ioan Florescu, the winner of many culinary prizes. If you want to try something different, you can order “surpriza bucatarului” or the surprise of the chef. You only choose the type of meat you prefer, and the cook will prepare for you a particular dish that you will only discover when the meal is served.

6. Prato
Since 2008, Prato Restaurant has offered excellent service to its customers and has adapted to their needs, over the years. They have a vegetarian-friendly menu that even meat eaters will find appealing. You can enjoy your meal and dessert here, inside or on their terrace. The restaurant is in the center of Brasov, so you can stop by anytime you are visiting the main attractions of the city.

7. Sergiana Restaurant
Sergiana Restaurant is another traditional Romanian restaurant, where you can enjoy the most famous meals of the local people and get a taste of real Romanian culture. You can choose from appetizers, such as ham, cheese and vegetables, all from local farmers, or dishes that include fish, such as sarmale, which is stuffed cabbage with meat and rice. Their main course dishes feature sides such as grilled vegetables and fresh salads.
Since this restaurant has two locations, you can find it in the Old Town of Brasov and in one of the biggest malls, the Coresi Shopping Resort.

8. Keller Steak House
Keller Steak House is very close to the Black Church and only 100 meters (32.8 feet) away from the Piata Sfatului (Council Market). They serve, as you might expect, delicious genuine Black Angus steak along with great appetizers, warm and cold. They also have soups, pasta, salads, fish, chicken, New Zealand lamb, wild game, pork and even vegetarian and children’s dishes.
The location of the restaurant is great, and you can stop by here anytime you are visiting the historical center of Brasov.
