People visit coffee shops to catch up with some friends, read a book, or write an article while sipping their favorite drink or eating their favorite slice of cake. Whatever your reason is, here are 11 coffee shops in Cebu that you should try:
1. Bo's Coffee
There are 16 branches of Bo’s Coffee in Cebu. You’ll find them in malls, hotels, and business centers. Bo’s Sagada pour over is one of the best.
If you like a cold coffee drink, you’ll enjoy their iced mocha too. And should you go hungry, order a carbonara. It tastes really good.
Bo’s can get pretty crowded in malls especially during the weekend. If you want to avoid the crowd, visit the Raintree Mall branch. The place is quiet and peaceful even on the weekend.

3. APlus Coffee n' Dessert House
They’re newly opened and used to be Coffee Prince. The cafe is spacious enough to fit a group of about 50 people. And they have a big smoking area outside the cafe.
You’ll find some bookshelves at APlus with only a few books. Try their Orange Monster drink; it’s quite good. But food is a little pricey here.

4. Degree 9 Coffee
I like Degree 9’s interior and their baked macaroni is really good. It only costs about 1 USD. The mint chocolate frappuccino is also a winner. The coffee shop’s WiFi connection is not that strong though; not really recommended for people who visit coffee shops to work remotely.

5. Starbucks Coffee
Starbucks is one of the most popular coffee shops in Cebu. There’s a Starbucks on almost every corner. Most people visit this cafe, so it can get pretty crowded and noisy especially on weekends. If you really need your Starbucks drink, visit them during the weekdays when there aren’t too many people.

6. Crate Cafe
“A coffee shop with a view,” Crate Cafe is located up in the mountains. If you don’t own a car, pay a bicycle driver 1 USD to take you to Crate Cafe and another 1 USD to take you back to the city. This cafe is really small and they only have a few tables outside.
But the view is really beautiful. You can get a good view of the city from this cafe. They don’t accept reservations, so if you want the place for yourself, visit them early in the day. Otherwise, you won’t get a table for yourself. As I’ve said, they only have a few tables here.
