1. Sumilon Island
If you’re looking for some things to do with family, try to visit Sumilon Island, which is famous for its sandbars and glamping (glamorous camping). It’s just across the whale-watching site in Oslob; about a 30-minute boat ride. The sands here are really fine and super white. You won’t want to go home when you’re in Sumilon. It’s an island you can call your own.
2. Durhan White Beach
Your best sunset view is at Durhan White Beach. This resort is also quite and peaceful. If you’re visiting a beach resort to relax, then book a stay at Durhan.

This isn’t your typical beach resort. There are no white sands in Hunahuna. It’s a cliff resort in Catmon, a perfect getaway for romantic couples. I mean, just look at the photos. Who wouldn’t want to wake up with that view?

5. Sayaw Beach
Sayaw Beach is not only for swimming; adventure seekers can go spelunking as well. Just pay 6 USD to the boatman to take you to the cave. That’s already good for three to four people. The rock formations in the cave are a must-see.

6. Hidden Beach
Editor’s note: There’s no photo available at the time of writing
The beach is a tourist spot in Cebu. The island has fine stretches of white sand beaches facing Negros and is also hidden like Hermit’s Cove, another beach resort in Aloguinsan. The only difference is that you can stay overnight at this resort. If you want to get away from the city, then this place is for you.
Hidden Beach
Address: Aloguinsan, Cebu
7. San Remigio Beach
San Remigio Beach belongs to the long list of beautiful beaches in North Cebu and is absolutely worthy of your visit. Although there are no fine sands, the island is rich in marine life. You can either swim in one of the public beaches or go scuba diving.

8. Paradise Beach
Paradise Beach is one of the beaches in Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island and, perhaps, the most secluded in the area. Also known as Sandira Beach, a fee of 1 USD is collected before entering the premises. The calm waters allow visitors to soak, snorkel, and just have a peaceful time overall. Paradise Beach is the perfect spot to read a book or sunbathe as there are not many people to disturb you. When you do find yourself in Sta. Fe, make Paradise Beach your top priority!

Traveler's tips
Sandira Beach
This is a haven! This is the best beach in Bantayan Island. It’s a private property, but open to the public with a fee of 50 pesos for each person. It’s a small beach area, with fine white sand and crystal blue waters. There are no cottages, only shaded areas. Highly recommended to bring your picnic mat or towels.
9. Malapascua Island
Located in the northern Cebu is the beautiful island of Malapascua. The beach has really fine white sand and crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming. Other activities on the island include wreck diving and scuba diving with the thresher sharks. And don’t forget Malapascua’s sunrise view. It is the best.

10. Hermit's Cove
Hermit’s Cove is hidden in the mountains and there are no accommodations on the beach. You can rent a small cottage or bring your own tents. But camping overnight is no longer allowed at the cove.
One of the beaches in the south of Cebu, this one is a little paradise. It’s just not developed yet; there are no proper restrooms. The beach though is clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
11. Basdako
Got a tent? Take a break from the usual hotels with infinity pools just this time and go camping at Basdako, Moalboal instead. If you like snorkeling, then you should see the Sardines at Pescador Island, which is near Basdako.
At the Pescador dive site, you will be overwhelmed looking at thousands and thousands of fish. Just make it a point to have a life vest with you as the currents there are really strong. If you can’t swim, try not to go far from your boat.
12. Sta. Fe, Bantayan
Bantayan Island has some of the best beaches in Cebu and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. The beaches are simply beautiful. And they are the only place in the Philippines that allows consumption of meat during the Holy Week. This is why people flock to Bantayan during the Lenten season. They don’t fast but rather feast.
Tip from Trip101 local expert
Bantayan Island in Cebu. Personally I can say that they can rival themselves with the world famous Boracay Island in terms of the white sand beaches though not as fine as in Boracay and clear waters. And also less crowded. Perfect for total relaxation and de-stressing. 😊
13. Santiago Bay
Camotes Island is home to the most beautiful beaches in Cebu, and Santiago Bay is one of them. You can get an accommodation at one of their resorts for as low as 17 USD (a fan room). Other outdoorsy things to do in Camotes include cliff diving and spelunking.
Santiago Bay
Address: Camotes Island
14. Tingko
Two hours from Cebu is Tingko Beach of Alcoy. The waters are a little deep, so it’s not ideal for swimming with children. The beach is perfect for relaxing while reading a good book. You can rest beside a huge rock found on the sandy beaches of Tingko. You can also camp here overnight.
Tingko Beach
Address: Alcoy, Cebu
15. Lambug Beach
Lambug Beach in Badian is one of the finest white sand beaches in Cebu. This public resort is peaceful and quiet at night as there are no hotels. There are a couple of karaoke machines but the stores don’t open for 24 hours. Lambug Beach is perfect for a couple who wants a quiet and a peaceful island all to themselves.

Address: Badian Cebu
Life is always better at the beach
Whatever mood you are in, it always gets better when you’re at the beach. The sounds of the waves will always calm you. Walking barefoot on the sand relaxes your entire body. You just realize that life is indeed beautiful especially when you’re at the beach. If you’re planning a trip here soon, be sure to check out as well some budget hotels and staycations spots for your accommodation needs.
