Cebu is blessed not only with breathtaking attractions but also stunning beaches. Whether you’re staying at budget hotels and hostels or at the best RedDoorz hotels in Cebu, going to the beach is a must. Here’s our list of the most amazing beaches in Cebu, Philippines.

1. Sta. Fe, Bantayan (from USD 46.0)

Bantayan Island has some of the best beaches in Cebu and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists. The beaches are simply beautiful. And they are the only place in the Philippines that allows consumption of meat during the Holy Week. This is why people flock to Bantayan during the Lenten season. They don’t fast but rather feast.

Bantayan Island in Cebu. Personally I can say that they can rival themselves with the world famous Boracay Island in terms of the white sand beaches though not as fine as in Boracay and clear waters. And also less crowded. Perfect for total relaxation and de-stressing. 😊

If you’re looking for some things to do with family, try to visit Sumilon Island, which is famous for its sandbars and glamping (glamorous camping). It’s just across the whale-watching site in Oslob; about a 30-minute boat ride. The sands here are really fine and super white. You won’t want to go home when you’re in Sumilon. It’s an island you can call your own.

Editor’s note: There’s no photo available at the time of writing

The beach is a tourist spot in Cebu. The island has fine stretches of white sand beaches facing Negros and is also hidden like Hermit’s Cove, another beach resort in Aloguinsan. The only difference is that you can stay overnight at this resort. If you want to get away from the city, then this place is for you.

Paradise Beach is one of the beaches in Sta. Fe, Bantayan Island and, perhaps, the most secluded in the area. Also known as Sandira Beach, a fee of 1 USD is collected before entering the premises. The calm waters allow visitors to soak, snorkel, and just have a peaceful time overall. Paradise Beach is the perfect spot to read a book or sunbathe as there are not many people to disturb you. 14. Hermit's Cove (from USD 109.0)

Hermit’s Cove is hidden in the mountains and there are no accommodations on the beach. You can rent a small cottage or bring your own tents. But camping overnight is no longer allowed at the cove.

One of the beaches in the south of Cebu, this one is a little paradise. It’s just not developed yet; there are no proper restrooms. The beach though is clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling.

15. Basdako (from USD 37.0)

Got a tent? Take a break from the usual hotels with infinity pools just this time and go camping at Basdako, Moalboal instead. If you like snorkeling, then you should see the Sardines at Pescador Island, which is near Basdako.

At the Pescador dive site, you will be overwhelmed looking at thousands and thousands of fish. Just make it a point to have a life vest with you as the currents there are really strong. If you can’t swim, try not to go far from your boat.
