When I first saw this hotel, I knew it absolutely had to be included on this list. Be transported back to the life of the Old Caribbean at the Graycliff Hotel, a former mansion turned private hotel that is steeped in history. Originally built in 1740, this hotel has been owned by pirates, the United States military, and a friend of Al Capone. Its current owners have been exceedingly important in the restoration of the historic West Hill Street, and the locals regard it as an elegant piece of local history. Besides being a hotel, there are also three restaurants on the property, a resident cigar company, and an extensive wine cellar. But even though this is a nearly 3-century-old structure, you’ll still find all the necessary amenities such as free Wi-Fi, central air, and fitness center. This hotel only has 20 rooms, so if you are interested in staying here, it is best to book early.

This great townhome is just a five-minute walk to one of the best beaches in Nassau, the Bahamas and has all the basic amenities for those not looking for over the top accommodations. The townhome has been approved for business travelers, and can accommodate four guests in its two bedrooms (each with a queen bed) and one and a half bathrooms. Feel free to use all the appliances in the fully equipped kitchen and the televisions that are all hooked up to cable. There is a 40 USD (40 BSD) charge per night when there are more than two guests staying at this residence, in addition to the 80 USD (80 BSD) cleaning fee, and 400 USD (400 BSD) security deposit. The host does ask that visitors be prepared to turn off all lights, and air conditioning when leaving the townhome in order to save on electricity. There is a two night minimum requirement when booking this Airbnb. The host recommends renting a car to visitors, which will run you about 50 USD (50 BSD) per day. You can bring the whole family along to this large private home in a gated-community on the eastern tip of Nassau. This home can accommodate up to eight people, within its four bedrooms (one king bed, two queen beds, and two single beds) and three bathrooms. There is a 150 USD (150 BSD) cleaning fee and a 300 USD (300 BSD) security deposit, although the security deposit is only payable if the hosts have to file a damages report with a particular guest. Guests are free to use the fully equipped kitchen, and the kayaks and snorkeling equipment. Each bed is provided with linens and is stocked with plenty of towels.
