The Kastorbrunnen, Saint Castor’s Fountain, is a relic dating back to the Napoleonic Wars. It is a beautiful fountain made of basalt rocks right before the basilica, that has become a must-see tourist attraction for anyone travelling to Koblenz. There is an inscription on the stone that mentions that it is a memorial to Napoleon’s successful campaign against the Russians.

This beautiful town clock is located in the middle of Saint Florin’s market. You can stop by on a shopping spree, and say hello to the image that is said to represent a 16th-century robber, Johan Lutter. The interesting thing about this image is that the eyes roll to and fro as the pendulum moves. Every 30 minutes, this image sticks its tongue out to mock you, and it can be great fun to show your family if you have little kids with you.
