Located along the Necanicum River, the Neawanna RV Park offers RV parking and camping as well as tent camping. It’s a simple, pet-friendly site with free laundry facilities and free showers. There are picnic tables where you can enjoy your lunch if the weather is nice, and free WiFi is available. There are also restrooms and a water fountain with drinkable water on site. If you want to focus on exploring Seaside rather than a resort, this is perfect for you. Near both the river and the ocean, there are plenty of water-based activities to enjoy. You can also head into town and visit the Seaside Aquarium.

Bud’s RV Park & Campground is located just north of Seaside, in a town called Gearhart, which is conveniently located along the coast. It has space for both RV hookups and tent camping. If you plan to eat on site, there is a store where you can purchase food as well as picnic tables to eat on. For those who want to enjoy some fun in the water, you can even get a fishing license, tackle, and supplies at the campground. As far as day-to-day stuff goes, you’ll find clean showers, laundry facilities, and free WiFi available. And of course, everything in the Seaside area is nearby, from beach activities to hiking in parks.

6. Fort Stevens State Park
Fort Stevens got its start as a military base along the Columbia River during the Civil War. Today, the fort sits within Fort Stevens State Park, which offers trails, beach access, a museum devoted to military history, and swimming in Coffenbury Lake.
