Crakes Trees Manor is a homey family-owned plot of land in Yorkshire Dales National Park, offering bed and breakfast, glamping pods, rentable cottages, and almost wild camping. Campers can order food by text, make use of the fire pit hire service, bring their own barbecue, cook up a meal at the community kitchen, and use the shower and toilet blocks that are shared with glampers. Visitors can pitch anywhere on the wildflower meadow around the farm, and they can pitch a tent with two people or as a family with two kids. Extra adults are charged per night, while dogs are welcome for an extra fee per night.

Not only is the farm environmentally friendly, but it also has a farm building, holiday cottages, and a vast space meant for caravans and tents. Ideal for those who want to explore the surrounding mountains and peaks, the farm offers grass electric pitches for different sized tents and campervans, and it has campsites overlooking specific mountain peaks. The farm has free wifi, allows contained campfires, offers a fire pit, and wood, as well as facilities like heated block showers and USB charging lockers. There’s a no-noise policy after 9 pm.

Sykeside Camping Park is a family-friendly and dog-friendly site near Brotherswater Inn, which provides campers with shower and toilet blocks with shaving sockets, laundry facilities, a dishwashing area, 21 electric hookups for RVs, and a well-stocked shop that sells camping equipment, maps, and guides. Since the park is located at the foot of Kirkstone Pass, campers and tourers have easy access to Ullswater, Patterdale, Windermere, and more. Right on the shores of Lake Windermere, Hill of Oaks Caravan & Lodge Park is home to glamping pods, safari tents, holiday homes, and touring pitches. Perfect for a holiday getaway, the park’s season runs from April to January and it has plenty of activities like canoeing, hiking, and a ferry service to Lakeside. The caravan area has toilet and shower blocks, a laundry area, a recycling point, and a farm shop and bistro. All of the pitches are hard standing and come with television hookups, while some have a water hook-up with gray waste drainage.

Ideal for cyclists, walkers, and bird waters, Birchbank Cottage and Camping Site has a small grassy site just for tents and RVs. With eight electric hookups, a hard-standing area, showers, washbasins, and a flat open fell near the site, campers can bring their dogs along with them as long as they are well behaved. Additionally, barbecue and fire pits are allowed but must be put out by 10 pm.

Located in the heart of Naddle Valley, this pet-friendly farm has both electric and non-electric pitches for camping and touring. Campers and Tourers have access to toilet and shower blocks with hot water, eclectic sockets, and hand dryers. You can barbecue or start a fire pit. While the farm has an amazing view of the surrounding fells and mountains, visitors are encouraged to explore the area and can even cycle, sail, climb, swim, or golf near the farm. However, Dale Bottom Farm Campsite is only open from the 1st of March to the 1st of November.
