Ganga Aarti at Triveni Ghat, Rishikesh Beatles Ashram, Rishikesh Harry's Cafe, Laxman Jhula

When I'm wandering through Haridwar, taking that sacred dip in the Ganges is always on my list. Post dip, there's this spot I find myself drawn to every time – Choti Wala Restaurant. It's got this homey vibe, not too fancy, just right. You've got to try the Choley Bhature and Lassi there, trust me, it's a meal that never disappoints and it's pretty affordable too, sets you back just about 200 INR.

Moving to Rishikesh, I always make time for the Beatles Ashram. It's this mix of peace and pop culture, walls decked in graffiti that just beg for a photo. Then there's the Ganga Aarti in the evenings. Either at Parmarth Niketan or Triveni Ghat, it's a family tradition, feels like a warm embrace from the city itself. And if your stomach starts growling, Harry's Cafe by Laxman Jhula is the place.

When it comes to a spiritual destination, these two charming cities should be on the top of your list. Dotted with various temples and meditating spots, the solace and peace that you sought is within your reach. Some of the temples to visit are Dwarkadhish temple, Gita Mandir, and Kesava Deo temple.
