This historical park has been around since the Edwardian times. Although there has been some changes to the park since then, you can still get a real feel for all things 1900’s. This now modern sanctuary has something for everyone no matter what your age.

There is lots to do in this open space. At the main entrance there are fully equipped tennis courts next to an outdoor gym. Great for active types, they are also free to use.

The huge lake in the main park is home to several different types of duck too. Find everything from the majestic swan family to the smaller species of ducks that enjoy the park too. The park extension is located across Mayesbrook road and are almost always in use. The many local football and cricket clubs often host matches here. Visitors are welcome to watch events during the weekends, a real bonus for sports fans.
