Kundapura is a peninsular town that doesn’t have any beaches strictly within its borders, however, it is difficult to remove the sea from the identity of this town. Kodi Beach is perhaps the most iconic destination in the area and is within a 15-minute drive from central Kundapura. I would love to just lounge on the shimmering sands of the beautiful beach.
It would be best to avoid a beach vacation in Kundapura during the monsoon, extending from July to September and October to November. Summers are hot and humid, but sunshine is assured. If you want to avoid the heat, you can head to the coast in the winter.
