Mount Kachi Kachi Ropeway is conveniently located just 13 minutes from Kawaguchiko Station. You will be able to access the top of the mountain, also known as the Tenjoyama Park, via a 3 minute long ropeway ride. Those who prefer an adventure can walk up the hiking route too. From the top of the mountain, you will be offered an amazing view of the city, Kawaguchiko, Mount Fuji and the other nature that surrounds it. 3. The soothing music boxes of Kawaguchiko Music Forest

The Kawaguchiko Music Forest is a museum about 30 minutes from Kawaguchiko Station by bus. Here, various types of music boxes are placed on display, together with one of the biggest mechanical organs in the world. There are a total of 3 exhibit halls and cathartic music will serenade you as you walk around the museum. Furthermore, if you happen to visit Kawaguchiko Music Forest around June, you will also be able to enjoy a fantastic rose garden outside where over 720 species of roses will be on display!

So privileged to see Mt. Fuji from Lake Kawaguchi. The clear blue skies, the fluffy white clouds, and the fields of wildflowers by the lake made a picture-perfect photo. 5. The Herb Festival at Yagizaki Park

The lavender is one of the most popular flowers in the Kawaguchiko region. At Yagizaki Park, a Herb Festival is held annually during late June to early July, where the whole park will be saturated with beautiful purple lavender flowers in full bloom. A sweet scent will guide you to the park and apart from the beautiful scenery of lavender flowers with the lake and Mount Fuji, you can also enjoy other snacks such as Lavender Ice Cream! Definitely a must-try!

6. Maple Corridor at colored leaves festival

A beautiful scenery of maple leafs is the epitome of Japan’s autumn landscape. From November 1 to November 23, the colored leaves festival will be held at the Northern region of Kawaguchiko. One of the highlights of the festival is the “maple leaf tunnel” where over 60 maple trees with bright yellow and orange leaves will be lit up, creating an extremely dreamy scene.
