I’ll tell you about one that’s located conveniently in Osaka on the 13th floor of the Daimaru Umeda department store.
Pokemon Center Osaka
Pokemon Center Osaka is located on the 13th floor of Daimaru Umeda department store, next to Osaka Station. Not only is the location itself superb, there is also a large Uniqlo on the same floor as the Pokemon Center, so parents bringing their children to play can shop instead of just waiting for their kids to tire out. The upper floor is also packed with restaurants so grownups can enjoy a coffee break while their kids are engrossed in games downstairs. The Pokemon Center is an open space without walls and has a good view of the Uniqlo store – an effective layout for parents who want to check on their kids while they shop.
It’s all about Pikachu
The most established and well-known Pokemon character is Pikachu. No matter how many new characters appear, Pikachu’s popularity is unshakable. Not only is he famous among kids but also among adults who know him from their younger days. Back in his heyday, Pikachu’s lightening powers made him shine so brightly that maybe even grandpas and grandmas know about him! Unsurprisingly, he has the biggest number of toys devoted to him here.

A child’s dream classroom
This is the Pokemon card game classroom. All of the children here are listening carefully to the teachings of the instructor, and parents are recording them with video cameras; it’s practically like a school’s parents’ day. The children’s level of concentration is amazing and they all look like they’re taking the lesson quite seriously. This spot is so popular that many come to view the spectacle even if they don’t have kids in the class.

The classroom in the Pokemon Center offers classes for all levels, from beginners’ lessons to advanced classes on how to make your own deck. It’s a one of a kind experience and definitely worth a visit for both Pokemon fans and the curious alike.
