Miller House is a great tourist attraction. This is a historic home, and at the same time, a local history museum. This is the home where the Price family lived, and there are so many interesting things to explore. Hagerstown Cultural Trail connects City Park to downtown. What makes this place such a nice attraction are its unique murals that come in different sizes, perfect for an Instagram spot. Plus, there are so many other amazing things such as great art from internationally famous artists, a gallery with photos of people who played an important role in history as well as the walking trail. All in all, this place is a good option to spend a couple of interesting hours.

6. Enjoy a day of fun at Marty Snook Park

Marty Snook Park is another amazing park in Hagerstown. This park is filled with things to do and amenities. If you want to go for a picnic, there are four picnic pavilions, picnic tables and even grills. And if you want to be more active, there is a huge playground. Mansion House Art Center is a lovely house of the mid 19th century. Facing a lake and with a great Georgian style, this home is a great attraction. Also, it is now one of the headquarters of the Valley of Art Association. Plus, it serves as a gallery for the artwork of local artists, as well as a venue for classes and meetings. Here, you can explore the artwork and even buy it if you want to do so.

8. Visit Beaver Creek School Museum

Dating back to 1904, this place is part of the Maryland Inventory of Historic Properties. This is a two-room old schoolhouse that was turned into a museum in 1971. By visiting this museum, you will see very interesting stuff, and some of this lovely museum’s highlights include wooden or iron craftsmen’s tools, a nice sleigh, galleries of vintage toys, clothing, old musical instruments, an 1840’s hand-crank organ as well as a 1911 Edison record player! Also, this museum features a park, where visitors can go for a picnic after spending some time exploring all the amazing things in the museum.

9. Learn about railroad history at Hagerstown Railroad Museum
Hagerstown Railroad Museum is a great attraction, within walking distance from the Mansion House Art Center. If going there by car, parking is available too. This is another great museum that’s focused on railroads and trains. After you enter the museum, take your time to walk around and see all the trains and locomotives nearby. Also, if you like a caboose, then check out two old cabooses and even climb into one.
