Dargah E Aalahazrat Bareilly Sharif is a majestic tomb and shrine to honor Ahmed Raza Khan (or simply Aala Hazrat), a 19th-century Islamic scholar, jurist, mujaddid, sufi, mufti (a Muslim legal expert), theologian, philosopher, scientist, ascetic, and an Urdu poet. He’s also known to be the leader of the Barelvi, a Sunni revivalist and reformist movement during the British colonial rule.
