5. New York Water Taxi

Posted by New York Water Taxi on Thursday, 19 May 2016

The New York Water Taxi is similar to a regular taxi, but obviously drives on the water. They give out tours as well, offering pretty sights while you’re learning about different activities and happenings in the area. This is not for those that may get motion sickness, as the boat is a relatively slow moving boat, giving customers enough time to look at everything that is around them and take pictures if they want them. They are open all day, so it’s a great way to spend a few hours learning about New York.

Now this a great attraction to visit when in the area. They always have different exhibits to look at, and they are always changing too, so just because someone visits once, doesn’t mean they will see the same things when they go back the next time. They tend to host a lot of events here too, so it’s often pretty crowded. Its main goal is to provide the New York population with quality visual arts on a daily basis. And they do an excellent job of doing just that, so be sure to check it out!

The Long Island Railroad is the commuting rail system in the more southern part of New York. It is one of the few commuting systems that runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week, even during holidays. The old Rego Park train station is made up of wood, unlike any other train station and it was closed down on June 8, 1962, as well as many other stations of the loop. While the building no longer stands there, the railways are still intact, letting people see the old rails that once took people from place to place.

10. Rockaway Beach

It is wonderful.

Posted by Gregory Szubert on Sunday, 23 April 2017

On a hot, sunny day is it best to visit the beach. The sand is nearly white and the water from the Atlantic Ocean is a bluish green color. The kids can play in the sand while adults work on their tan. This is one of the longest beaches in the United States, so there is plenty of room for everyone to go and enjoy themselves here. It is best in the warmer months, but it’s always pretty to watch the sun set on the water. Be sure to pack sun screen, towels, and lots of water to drink while here.
