1. Lulugayan Falls

Originating at Calindongan Lake, Lulugayan Falls is lauded as the mini-Niagara Falls of Samar - it’s simply that breathtaking. Lulugayan Falls is characterized as a river with multi-level falls, making it a perfect source of cool, fresh water to swim in during the dry season.

The best way to get to Lulugayan Falls is through what locals call the “habal-habal” or a motorcycle ride, and entrance is around 10 USD per person.

Being one of the few remaining working lighthouses in the country built during the Spanish Era, Capul Lighthouse is famed for its significance in history and architecture. Aside from this, the Capul Lighthouse also provides a breathtaking view from the cliff on where it stands - so after that hearty picnic, make sure to go on a photo spree!

This white sand beach has been dubbed by tourists as one of the best beaches for couples seeking relaxation, what with its combination of clear water and fine sand. It’s very accessible from the city proper, with only half an hour of hiking on cement stairs, needed. For those who wish to book an open-air cottage, rental only costs around 5 to 20 USD a day.

Lobo Cave isn’t just for sightseeing and spelunking, it’s a great spot for some enchantment, too.
