Although your accommodations come with a kitchen, there are times that you may prefer eating out instead. The nearby malls of SM North EDSA and TriNoma have plenty of restaurants to choose from, but it would be a mistake to not try Mister Kabab even just once. It's also just along West Avenue, a short jeepney ride away from this property, heading south to Quezon Avenue. Keep an eye out for the Petron and BPI Bank, as it's just a couple of buildings after those. I've already settled on alternating between lamb or beef chelo kababs whenever I drop by, but if you'd like to try everything you can order a platter with two of each type. When I'm in the mood for some hefty side dishes, I also order a serving of either the hommus or the motabal.

If you book this property, you're well connected to Katipunan Avenue to U.P. Town Center by Ayala Malls, which has lots of shopping and dining options. I recommend Silantro Fil-Mex Cantina, which has the best beef nachos, and Ramen Nagi. There are a lot of residential subdivisions along Katipunan, so UPTC is usually full of families eating and shopping together.
If you want to spend less money, cross the footbridge to go to the beautiful University of the Philippines Diliman campus for serene walks around the UP Academic Oval. If you're here on a weekend, the oval is closed to vehicles, and there are plenty of people jogging or picnicking in the UP Sunken Garden. There are also small kiosks dotted around so you can try Filipino street food classics.
UP is open to all kinds of people, whether young students playing sports or elder alumni wanting to exercise. It's a great place to go if you want to immerse yourself in Quezon City culture. The campus is also historic because it was a battlefield during the Martial Law era, so you'll learn a lot about the country's history too!
