Little Venice is a district in Mykonos famous for its quaint beauty with its Cycladic whitewashed squat buildings, many of which are bars and places to eat. This is a great place to experience Mykonos’ nightlife as you can go bar hopping and meet other travelers or to settle in at a waterfront restaurant for the night with your party enjoying a steady flow Greek appetizers, beer, and wine. It’s on the water’s edge too, so with a beer bottle in hand, moon high in the sky, you can wiggle your toes in sand of the small Little Venice beach and feel the water caress your feet.

I never even knew you could rent yachts, but it turns out you can and at Mykonos no less. The Mykonos Yacht Club has a fleet of three yachts that provide tours of specific islands and beaches or they will just cruise around. Whatever you desire. Gathering your friends and partying the night away on a yacht sounds like a great night to me!

Lola-Bar Cafe is a wonderful friendly gay bar in Little Venice. The interior lighting is dim, with mauve walls, abundant flowers and mirrors abound. It’d be hard not feel light and happy here. So even if you are straight, meet some new folks and check this place out while you’re in Mykonos!

13. Drink it up in a castle, at 180 Degrees Sunset Bar
Have you ever thought it would be cool to drink in a castle? You probably haven’t, but you can know what you are missing out on and claim your rightful turret. The Penigrakis Castle is not some lavish European castle dating many centuries. This castle was built just half a century ago and instead of imposing walls, it has flowing smooth walls and tables that afford panoramic views. Oh and you can grab some drinks at 180 Degrees Sunset Bar while you’re up there and get drunk in a castle.
