The Hearth also plays host to a number of musical events in case you’re looking for some entertainment. The Meatless District is a set of two, all vegan restaurants in Amsterdam with really creative cooks and a seasonal changing menu. What’s unique is that they make tasty substitutes for all sorts of meat and dairy products, making it worthwhile for both the vegan or a traditional meat-eater. The wine they serve is especially delicious, hence a glass of it is a must have with any meal. The place is well decorated and cosy, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. For those who are too lazy to step out of their home, they also have home delivery options through Uber Eats, in certain parts of town.

The Alchemist Garden is a small cafe and shop in the heart of Amsterdam, serving 100% vegan food and with a very local feel to it. They have some really good food options and you will especially enjoy the meals if you’re into raw vegan foods. In case you’re looking to sit around for a while, the place has a few board games available to pass time. All-in-all, they have some really great tasting options for smoothies, cakes and pies which are worth a shot.

DopHert is a true hidden gem on the outskirts of Amsterdam! The ambience here is really colourful and cute and the restaurant has outdoor seating as well. Everything they serve here is 100% vegetable, therefore it is egg and lactose-free. You can choose from a variety of options like burgers, shakes, juices, fries and desserts to satisfy your cravings. And yes, also do not forget to grab a cup of their deliciously yummy coffee, which in my opinion is to die for.

De Bolhoed is a pretty unique, old-looking but charming place with a hippie vibe to it. The restaurant is well-located, pretty close to Anne Frank’s house, making it convenient and easily accessible to tourists. They have quite a few options of large-portion sized vegetarian and vegan meals to choose from, but what you absolutely shouldn’t miss are their cakes and pastries!
