(7)Wood carvings are pretty easy to find here. Whether you want them as a gift or to display at your house, it's as simple as going online or heading to the mall. The chain store we frequent is Kultura Filipino but most of the time you're likely to find them at touristy spots. One time we were on the road driving home from Tagaytay and a peddler was selling these hand-carved wooden motorbikes. My dad just rolled down his window and started haggling. You can buy some really nice pieces to decorate or useful things like trays and keyholders. This is a staple in the souvenir industry!

This is another item that you'll find in every Filipino household. You'll also probably run across vendors selling these on the streets or at the market. After all, why break out the vacuum cleaner when you have this super handy way of cleaning your floors? Just drag this all the way out the door like I do or pair it with a dustpan and you're good to go. They're also really sturdy, so if you get one of these, they'll last you a good long while!

This is a really interesting place to visit, as it looks unlike any other hotel/casino I've ever seen before. The interior is vividly pink and made me think of an Arabian princess' room. As soon as you walk in, you'll notice a lot of people taking in the sight. It can be pretty overwhelming - in a good way! Anyone chasing those pink feed goals (#PFG!) ought to visit to take some cute pics.

Greenhills is a pretty well-known shopping center in San Juan City. If you say 'Greenhills' in general, you're referring to a bunch of malls squeezed together in one location. The tiangge (bazaar) is an air-conditioned shopping area where you'll find the really good, cheap bargains - clothes, local snacks, souvenirs, food stalls, and corners selling faux designer items. You can definitely try your hand at bargaining here, as most of the sellers are accommodating enough. This place is centrally located, so I usually go here to run errands because everything I need is already in one place!
