1. Disney Ambassador Hotel

Blended together in an artistic-style decoration, this hotel is where all your favourite Disney characters come to life! Designed with a 1930’s American motif, this is a first-class hotel with Disney characters shown throughout the premises. Getting around to Tokyo Disney’s landmarks is easy as there are shuttle buses that travel between the hotel and Tokyo Disneyland as well as Tokyo Disney Sea.

The hotel is great for families as people travelling with small children can take their kids back and forth to the hotel and the attractions with ease by using the shuttle service. Guests can check in on the first floor and take a moment to relax in the lounge, but where the hotel truly shines is the ambassador floor on the 6th floor of the hotel. Here, guests will have access to juices, water and some sweets while you can relax and watch classic Disney movies being shown on the TV.

Staying at the Disney Ambassador Hotel means staying in a Disney Character-themed room. Each room comes with a different character theme from the Disney universe including Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck, Chip and Dale, and the newly built Stich room! The rooms are not only expertly designed with Disney themes throughout but are of course super comfortable and come with everything you’d need for a great stay like restaurants on site as well as being only a few minutes away from the attractions of Tokyo Disney and Tokyo DisneySea.

Room amenities like soaps and slippers are, of course, all Disney themed and every room comes with a great little goodie bag for your stay and they also make great little souvenirs as well.

2. Tokyo Disneysea Hotel

The Tokyo Disney Sea Hotel is one with elegance and luxury that is both great for kids and adults. The dream-like hotel is a perfect place to stay as you will be situated in the park itself. The hotel is named the “Mira Costa” which roughly translates to “looking at the sea” in Italian. The hotel features some amazing classical Italian decor motifs from the 19th and 18th centuries. The hotel opened in September 2001 and has been one of the most consistently popular Tokyo Disney spots with rooms being renovated in 2015.

The rooms are distinguished by three different styles, all modelled after iconic Italian styles. The Tuscany side of the hotel specializes in a more calm and quiet atmosphere, the Venetian side specializes in a romantic atmosphere, and the Porto Paradiso is the livelier side of the hotel. Since this is a Disney Hotel, after all, you can expect to see all your favourite characters blended into the designs of the rooms.

The Venetian side of the hotel will make you really feel like you’re in Venice because if you look out the window you’ll be greeted with the canals, gondolas and water. The room’s motif features panoramic views of Venice etched into its elegant design. The Porto Paradiso side of the hotel is particularly popular and modelled after the town of Portofino in southern Italy. From Porto Paradiso side guest can watch fireworks from their balconies and watch water shows, just make sure to book up to six months in advance!

Of course, we have to mention the beauty that is Tokyo Disneyland and the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. If you’re planning on visiting Tokyo Disneyland, then this hotel should be at the top of your list of places to stay. Located literally just a one-minute walk away from the theme park, the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel is a grand Victorian-style hotel designed in such a way that it pays homage to the period Walt Disney was born in.

The lobby of the hotel is just as large and luxurious as any real Victorian-style hotel in Europe and features an amazing “Dreamers lounge” where guests can come in and relax in a bright, open and calm atmosphere and even enjoy an afternoon tea. The tea also always changes with the seasons so you’ll have a new excuse to visit every so often and try out the different varieties offered. The event is popular, especially with those looking to get a picture of the event so we recommend going early if you wish to get a seat.

The rooms at Tokyo Disneyland are fantasy themed that artfully reproduce the feel and aesthetics of the movies they are trying to represent. Guests will have the chance to stay in one of many themed rooms like Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Alice in Wonderland, Tinker Bell, among others. Each room offering a different style and decor, from the carpets to the bed sheets. We recommend watching one of the movies first before you make your pick! Each room is so meticulously decorated to fit the style that it truly is a magical experience walking in the room your first time and seeing the wonders of it.

The Tokyo Disneyland station is also designed in a similar Victorian style so as soon as you arrive you’ll feel like you stepped into a magical kingdom of wonder and fairy tale. Guests can also have an early check-in time that allows guests to complete their stay before they arrive and Tokyo Disneyland Hotel as features a late check-out of 12:00 PM so you can sleep in.

4. Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel

If you’re looking for an amazing Tokyo Disney Vacation but don’t want to break the bank, then the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel is for you! Designed to simplify services and facilities guests can come here, save some money and still have an amazing vacation at Tokyo Disney! There are two buildings here; “Wish” and “Discover” and both buildings are reminiscent of things you’ll see and find in Tokyo Disney Sea and Tokyo Disneyland. For those arriving by car, there is a small fee of 1,000 Yen (9 USD) per night to park. And for those arriving from the high-speed bay line, it is about 15 minutes away via the hotel’s free shuttle ride.

Once guests enter the lobby, they’ll notice that it is divided into three sections — Arabian Coast’s Flying Carpet, Alice’s Tea Party and Castle Carousel. Guests should be aware that Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea are two separate parks but both are included when you stay here, so you get the both of both worlds. The hotel features a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the grounds that is a great place to relax and enjoy some sunshine but also at night the grounds are lit up and it looks amazing! There is even “Snow White’s Wishing Well” in the courtyard.

Because the Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel is more budget oriented, you won’t get certain services here, like you would at the other Disneyland Hotel locations such as full restaurant or wedding and chapel services. The Tokyo Disney Celebration Hotel does have a cafe area that opens for breakfast but there is no restaurant or lounge. The buffet-style breakfast is open from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM at a fee of 1,300 Yen (12 USD) for adults or 900 Yen (8 USD) for kids.

The rooms are beautifully decorated with fantasy themes and motifs throughout the room. Park characters are drawn together in murals in the rooms and a standard room can sleep about four people. The price of the room fluctuates depending upon the season but generally, a four-person room will go for about 23,000 Yen (207 USD) which compared to the regular Disneyland hotel at 50,000 Yen (450 USD) is a real saving. Each room will come with essentials for your stay like shampoo, body wash, towels, humidifier and WiFi.
